You won't know exactly, but you should be able to get close by multiplying 1.2 by V\plain\f4\fs14\dn3 S1\plain\f4\fs18\b . \par \par After you've cleared the area, apply carburetor heat, gradually reduce the power, and pull back on the yoke to maintain altitude. As you start to slow down, you'll need to use more right rudder as your angle of attack increases. Remember to trim the airplane each time to ease the control pressures. Once you get your airplane slowed down to the desired airspeed, add power to maintain altitude and airspeed. \par \par Since you're at a high angle of attack and a slow airspeed, when you add power, the nose will want to pull to the left, so don't forget to use more right rudder. A shallower bank angle means a lower load factor than a steeper bank angle. Even with a shallow bank, you may need to add power as you turn to compensate for the increased load factor. And, coordination is important because if you do happen to stall the airplane, you can avoid a spin by keeping the ball centered. \par \par To descend, decrease power and adjust pitch to maintain airspeed.
